# What AI models are available in Dust?

Dust gives you access to models from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral, and others, plus three **auto models**: **Fast**, **Standard**, and **Complex**. Each auto model is an ordered list of models maintained by Dust, and Dust uses the first one available to your workspace, so you do not have to track individual models.

You choose a model in two places: the model picker in the conversation input bar, and **Advanced** > **Model selection** in the agent builder.

For what each auto model is for, see [Auto models](/docs/user-documentation/agents/model-selection#auto-models).

Admins can cap which models and reasoning efforts each member is allowed to select. See [Model access tiers](/docs/user-documentation/admins/usage-seats-and-credits/model-access-tiers).

The exact list of available models changes as providers ship new ones. The picker always shows what is currently available to you.
